"[Ahmadi's work] explores acts of refusal in light of oppressive ideologies transcribed on the body. Autonomy of the body and connection with others is central to self-actualization—the freedom to endlessly become. Ahmadi seeks to forward these conversations by redefining their own body in its glorious meaninglessness."
-Lex Jaquet, Gallatin Galleries
